We have baked cakes and bingo’ed played games, giant chess, noughts and crosses and drafts in the garden making the most of this very warm summer that we having and making sure we have our sun screen on.

We have also played on the Tovertafel or the ‘magic table’ This is a special piece of interactive equipment specially designed for those residents who have Alzheimers or dementia. We have painted and had pampering manicures which we all enjoy, even our male residents too.

We visited Minnis Bay for ice cream, Westgate on Sea, more ice cream, Deal sea front, you guessed more ice cream, Capel-le-Ferne to the Hilltop cafe and Pegwell Bay.
