<p>Well, February the month of love has passed. Looking at all that has been happening this month, I don&rsquo;t know how we have fitted it all in to 28 days. Tom Abraham&rsquo;s, Chris Field, Jon Beetham and Geoff Stephens gave us musical entertainment which we all enjoyed. Chris came on Valentine&rsquo;s Day and gave us many love songs and we had a Valentines Day quiz. The Activity staff have given us manicures. We have cooked, had arts and crafts and painting sessions and we have made some remarkable work. We have had our sensory sessions with the Guessing&nbsp; Box where various items are placed in a box and we have to guess what&rsquo;s in it. Apart from our Valentines quiz, we have quizzed around the world. Which has fitted in with our &lsquo;Taste it Tuesday&rsquo; which had us sampling food from China, Peru, Russia and Jamaica, they were all very interesting. Our trips out have taken us to Preston Garden Centre, The Coffee Shop in Sandwich and Elham Valley Vin Yard Cafe, no wine just coffee. Fizzy Friday we sampled Summer Berry Smoothie, Lemonade Shandy Ice Cream soda, Fizzy orange and Coca Cola. We have watched many good films this month, including Hello Dolly, Guys and Dolls, The Quartet, The 39 Steps to name but a few. We always have pop-corn and tuck shop when viewing. The staff entertained us one afternoon with a Karaoke session and there were several staff that got in to the swing of things rather too well. Our residents meeting was productive and we could put forward suggestions of activities and other changes we would like to see. Scrabble has been on the board games agenda, which has got the Little grey cells working over time as well as our usual games. We love our singing and dancing sessions and some how things come to a stand still as staff and us are singing and bopping away.
